Fingerprint system

Biometrisches Ident-System Access Control by Fingerprint

Nothing is as unique as human fingerprints. It is therefore only logical to use them to prevent mix-ups?
This is precisely the idea realized by the JUNG biometrical identification system: It can be used as an access control system in interior areas for protection of sensitive company departments such as laboratories, server rooms or design and development areas. This system checks the access authorization of personnel using their fingerprints, which serve as unequivocal identification due to their uniqueness. The sensor integrated into the device is a line scanner which creates an image of the fingerprint read in. This is stored and recognized again for access authorization. For this purpose, the device checks whether access authorization has been granted when a user passes his finger across the scanner and if so, triggers a switching operation for a preset time. Flashing red, yellow and green LEDs indicate whether the user has been identified and granted access in a manner similar to a traffic light.

For start-up it is necessary for the biometrical identification system to first learn in three master fingerprints (three different fingerprints or the same fingerprint three times). This process is the pre-requisite for allowing up to 50 persons to be granted access by the system.

The device can be installed quickly and easily in a flush-mounted wall box with a separate power supply. It is supplied ready for connection for standard door openers with 12 V DC power supply.

The biometric identification system is available in the JUNG design ranges AS 500, A 500, A plus, A creation, CD 500, CD plus, LS 990, stainless steel, aluminium, anthracite and gloss chrome, LS plus as well as FD and LS design and can be integrated seamlessly into present installations.
